We LOVE our air popper popcorn over here. Using an airpopper is easy, and fast--this machine can pop up to ten cups of popcorn in three minutes. Winter movie nights will never be the same again! This unit is sleek, easy to use, and best of all the components are dishwasher safe. The key to the best air popper popcorn is to use popcorn salt, I kid you not it makes all the difference.
I, personally, have never owned a wallet that cost more than $20 and even then it's probably more like something I got on a clearance rack at JCPenney. That being said, I've never loved a wallet. My husband Kyle LOVES his wallet (an older version of this) so much he isn't even interested in an update. This summer I came to love my convertible crossbody pouch bag and all my cards and cash are just floating around in a little pile...I definitely see the appeal of a slim little wallet and might even be eyeing this for myself now 🙈
This is a dupe for our REI Co-Op chairs that we love and use EVERYDAY. They fold up so small and so lightweight. Literally, they can fit in a backpack. Kyle uses one of these as his gaming chair and I'll often bring this to library storytimes. We take these out in the backyard to play a boardgame and always always bring them on van trips. These chairs are the just so incredibly lightweight, fold up so small (and quickly), and hold up to 330lbs. Highly recommend.
These belts are fantastic. No belt holes required AKA pretty much infinitely adjustable. If your husband/boyfriend/son can never seem to find a belt that fits these are gold. Kyle is a skinny guy and has two of these belts in different styles (I use them too sometimes), I remember my dad taking his leather belts into the kitchen and using a knife to add extra holes--No more dad! Also, in the past we saw these at Costco for $20 and bought one for my brother....just something to maybe keep an eye out for.
Full disclosure, I have not used these--but I plan on purchasing these for Kyle this Christmas. Kyle keeps a pair of work shoes at the office and likes to put a deodorizer in them when he takes them off for the day, unfortunately, the little shoe balls he uses don't do anything. I've used baking soda in the past but it gets so messy and takes a little more effort. Charcoal is great at eliminating odors instead of covering them up like many sprays do (they also won't damage your shoes). These have 4.5 stars and over 600 reviews. A 4-pack for $20 definitely seems like a reasonable price to try these out and I have high hopes.
This hybrid electric trimmer and shaver is a multitasking king! Beard trimmer, hair trimmer, shaver--it really does it all and is so small and compact. The replacement blades are affordable as well. I bought Kyle a different one of these for his birthday last year and he returned and got this one instead, haha! Seriously, this is a great tool and I just love how compact it is.
Again, we are all about multitaskers and here's another one. Kyle has used a CamelBak as a regular backpack (and sometimes water pack) since high school. He loves how it can carry everything he needs and how small it is. Last Christmas I got him this new upgraded version. He now has two and uses them both for different purposes. One for travel, one for day to day use. It's an investment piece, but for Kyle who uses it everyday it's worth it. Definitely a future diaper bag for Kyle 😅
These are a solid slipper. Buying slippers in-store either costs a fortune or has "Papa Bear" printed over an aggressive flannel pattern. These simple slippers are a great median slipper purchase, come in a multitude of colors and are often on sale. While I got these for Kyle a couple years back, I ended up stealing them. I wouldn't say these will last years and years, but again a good standard slipper with nice support and warmth.
This is a bit of a splurge robe, but the quality really is fantastic. It should definitely be noted that this is not a light and fluffy robe this is a heavy, terry-cloth post shower robe. That being said, the quality is really there and if you order from Lands' End directly you can personalize it with embroidered initials. The length is true to calf length which is a plus for warmth and coverage.
This is another splurge item, but such a cool find. For the gadget-y guy who has everything I present the self-cleaning water bottle. It uses a UV light (like what is used in the medical community to sanitize tools) in the cap to clean the interior of the water bottle. No more stinky metal water bottles! You do still need to clean due to the oils in your lips that touch when you drink, but not as often. I purchased this as a giftfor Kyle a couple Christmases ago and he loves it; he uses it everyday and it always comes with us when we travel. There are some cheaper knockoffs on Amazon that might be worth trying out, but I can't vouch for them the way I can Larq bottles.
This is obviously a great gift for anyone (well, maybe check for food allergies), but I decided to include it here. I also think this would be a fun gift for a family. The concept of snacks from different places in the world isn't new, but Amazon makes it easier than other subscription services if you're trying to keep it simple. You can also look around for boxes from different countries, Japanese is just an easy one to find.
There are lots of shoe Cleaning kits out here, but I chose to put this on the list for it's simplicity and multi-shoe cleaner. If you're looking for something a little more high quality (and support an eco-friendly company checkout Nisolo here). We live in Seattle meaning it's always grey and rainy. Our shoes get so dirty so quickly to the point where we will avoid wearing certain shoes because we don't want to clean them. Bonus points, clean your giftee's shoes for them!
Here's a great little upgrade that might seem unnecessary for the occasional home-improvement man but as a gift it's chef's kiss.
I'm looking to grab this for Kyle, this year--especially after our spare was broken by a little 4 year old friend. Tape measures last forever, so why not gift one with some extra bells and whistles?
And if $40 seems like a little too much but the idea seems solid here's a cheaper alternative for $25
It seems like there's a lot of people out there who don't love the feel of AirPods. Either way, these have 4 stars and over 18k reviews. Earbuds and headphones is one of those things that you can spend anywhere from $2 to $200 for and these seem to be a popular median option. I've also heard really great things about Raycons $100+
This is a bonus item. I tried to keep these lists as Amazon links since I intend them to be "idea" guides. I realized, however, that Nisolo does sell some shoes on Amazon so I'll do a little plug here. We LOVE our Nisolos and our first Christmas together we bought 4 pairs. Nisolo is a Certified B-Corp, and really takes care of their people. Their factories are in Peru and they pay workers fair wages based on lots of research, they also provide many opportunities to them. They're planet friendly and extremely transparent. Instead of buying via Amazon use this link here and code "Amy_Malcom_20" for 20% off. This is an affiliate link and I will receive commission. We love Nisolo and would rave even without the sponsorship.
